Birthday Boy... 1 Year old!!!!
Parker had a birthday party at his mom's work last night, Dimple Dell.
It was a lot of fun! We first tried our skills at indoor rock climbing. Taylor and Jake made it to the top to ring the cow bell. They reminded me of the American Gladiators.. they made it look to easy! Austin and I had a little tougher time. Austin made it almost to the top but I think the fear got to him... I know exactly how he feels. After three attempts and just a few footings away, my arms, fingers and mind gave up. Ron and Emmie were our cheerleaders, though Em did grab a hold of the rope and tried to climb herself. I can see why it is so addicting. I want to go back and try again. Ryan told me after words that all it is, is a strategy game. I can see why.
After sweating and barely being able to untie my shoes we then ventured off to the pool. This pool was really cool. It had a kids area, a lap pool, a lazy river and the fastest slide ever. Ron, Mikey, Terrance and Ryan seemed to have a lot of fun.... I think it was a game of who can make the bigger splash. But to their amazement there was a kid that weighed 250, and proud of it, he looked maybe 15 or 16, coming down the slide he was out of control! I swear the slide was going to break in half. When you see the whole slide move like it did, it's best to stay out of the way. Don't get me wrong the kid meant to do that. ..... his splash totally won! Sorry guys.
I loved the fact that Grandpa and Grandma Phillips joined in on the fun. Dad even went down the slide. Those to looked like young lovers floating in the Lazy River together! Way to "BE"!!
Thanks Lyndsey, Terrance and of course the star of the show.... PARKER!!

Sounds like there was a lot of fun had at Dimple Dell! :) We were definately there in heart!
I'm glad you all had fun. It was definitely more for the party group than the party boy!!! It's okay though...He's 1 and will never remember:)
I forgot to say that I absolutely love the picture of Parker. Sledding was so much fun. If we get anymore snow we'll have to go again.
