After 4 years of always coming in last, the Griffin's took the lead!
Austin took part in the Pinewood Derby last night. He cut out, sanded and painted his own car. The colors he chose were orange, red and gold.
He even named his car
"The Golden Dorf"
He was chosen to be last to race but waited very patiently.
He raced against 6 other cars that were really cool and were really fast. But for some reason Austin's was the fastest! Austin has always been the best cheerleader for every one, I think he had more fun cheering every one on then actually racing his car!
We were shocked and excited he won!
Way to go big guy!! Way to be a Griffin!!!
