Do you really want to know???
WHAT?
With our on going determination for an addition,
we've come to this...
More money needs to be spent, just to get our house ready,
in order to add on to our home, is it really worth it?
NO!!!
Like I said before.. the city wants us to put in curb, gutter and sidewalk, take out our trees or give them some land to go around the trees...
(side walks are considered city property.. then why isn't the city paying for it?)
and they want us to come up with $13,200.00 in cash for a bond...
Ya, OK that's just pocket change to us!
WHATEVER!!!
We have had several plumbers over to give us bid's and they have all told us that our downstairs bathroom plumbing "sucks"...
and that is the "New" bathroom?
The Drama Begins...
We have had many problems from our downstairs bathroom since we've moved in. There is no fan or window so it always needs a little extra attention in the smelly department ,if you know what I mean,. The tub has never drained that well.. I have even cleaned it out myself.. blaahaag... YUCK!
About a month ago the walls in the bathroom started to cry.. it is called Seepage..
Therefore the ugly sand bags out side where a curb and gutter should be..
oooo! Don't get me started...
I lost my train of thought....
About a month ago my house threw up! No really it did! The kitchen drain and the Washer drain are connected. Austin came running to me and said something is all over the Laundry room floor, I went down stairs and it looked like some one had come in and threw up everywhere, on my walls, on my new washer, on my clean folded clothes, on the furnace and the water heater, in the sink... do you get the picture? I called the plumber and I hurried and cleaned up the mess so I wouldn't be imbarressed... Funny..... he is going to be dealing with my families poop, I should have left it!
Problem Solved... Ya Right!
Last night after tucking the boys in bed, I went to turn off the bathroom light and stepped into a puddle of water! And to make things worse, there was poo in the tub!!
Seriously is my family that lazy?
I began to yell out... "who poo'd in the tub?" Hoping that some would fess up,
I really didn't want to think that my tub threw up!
SICK!!!
Plunge.. Swish ... Face!!
BLAAGHAAH!
(After having toilet water in my face!)
RESCUED..
This morning I called the plumber at 9 am he was here at 9:15 am!! Two of them spent 3 1/2 hours working on my clogged plumbing. After all was said and done they to told me that the plumbing in the down stairs bathroomed pretty much sucked... the cause of all this frustration was from the wrong size of pipe used, the pipe that was put in is to small for the draining, thus the clogging begins!! I asked the plumbers about our addition just to see what they would say...
"Ma'am' if you were to go ahead with your addition you better dig out another main line to the sewer".... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!
We are all OK, no flooding, no taking baths in *#@!?
My house is feeling and smelling much better,
You know how the doctor say's take two and call me in the morning?
My house took two plumber's on two differant days!
Go figure?

Kim... yuck! Sorry to hear about the ongoing house drama. I do have to say that you have a way of tellin' your stories - that makes me smile.
Well, at least your house LOOKS cute even if it doesn't SMELL so cute right now! I'm so sorry--plumbing problems are the worst! Go eat a bag of Hershey eggs. That's what I did--my shower doesn't work, and it still doesn't, but now I feel a little better!
