Catching up... First's!

****Fourth of July****

My camera was dead so these are the only pictures I have of the fourth...

This was my first time run/walking in the Freedom 5K.. Thanks Kathy for pushing me!

Emmie slept the whole way! I was only 4 min after Kathy!!

After the 5K we went and met all the cousins at our family spot for the Parade...

Who know's? Maybe I was dead from the run????

We all decided to go spend the afternoon with the Griffin family for their annual 4th of July BBQ. This was a first for our family. With Grandma Burgon's birthday being on the 4th of July we have always gone with my family. I'm glad we went! We had a great time and yummy food!

That evening we met at our favorite spot for fireworks and listened to the Music from Stadium of Fire, enjoyed pizza and lit off a few of our own fireworks.

July 3rd... Balloon Fest

This was our first time at the Balloon festival.. and we loved it, new family tradition!

Strawberry Days........
We put Emmie on her very first Carnie ride. As you can see she didn't last long, I know exactly how she feels. So needless to say Jake had to ride the Kiddie ride all by himself and this is what he thought of it....

Em's daddy won her, her first stuffed animal... a pink pig of course!

I couldn't keep track of these two....

But they sure had fun!!

This was our first time jumping into Deer Creek.....this year!

Yes you're right.... my boys are trying to bury themselves in "Utah" sand... hey it's the closest thing we have to a beach... what are you going to do?
