#10.... MC Hammer/ Vanilla Ice Concert..... back in the day I remember going to this concert and my sister Terri made her way to the stage and touched Vanilla Ice's hand..... Jealous!!
#9....... Pulling out the old leggings..... back in the day I wore them as pants all the time...
that is just wrong!
#8....... Wearing fluorescent.....back in the day my favorite shirt was bright orange with fluorescent Geckos on it.. oh ya, I also had fluorescent Orange shoes that matched.
#7....... Big hoop silver earrings.... Back in the day I stole them from my sister Terri all the time.
#6....... Bright pink, Easter egg colored lipstick.... back in the day I made fun of my sister wearing this but secretly was jealous cause she looked so good in it!
#5....... The Crimper..... back in the day I knew how to use it and didn't singe my hair the first time I crimped, I also don't remember my hair looking like I stuck my finger in the light socket.
#4...... Black Eye Liner...... Back in the day I would out line my whole eye, even the inside. I realized how painful that can be if you miss your inner eye...... ouch!
#3....... Spending 2 hours getting ready.... back in the day, that was back in the day!
#2....... Being with my sister's and cousin's..... back in the day we would spend all night getting ready to go to "The Palace"..... Good times!
#1....... Feeling' young?????... Back in the day I would dance all night long, be part of the "Mosh Pit" at a concert and live on 2 hours of sleep, now? I tried to keep up with the dancing, jumped up and down in the "Mosh Pit" and had 4 hours of sleep...... and totally paid for it the next day. Couldn't walk with out saying ouch and could barely keep my eyes open.
But having the feeling of being 16 again........
PRICELESS!!!

1 - I've been dancing around the house to 80's music lately... as part of my workout routine. It takes a lot out of you - especially at this age.
Priceless - seeing pictures of your sisters and your cousin dressed like hot 80's chicks - posted all over facebook for all to enjoy!
I'm glad you girla had a good time! "Still jealous!" But, I do have my memories. :D
I loved it!! I never did the concert thing, but I do remember the palace. I only went every once in awhile, but still stayed out forever! Good times! Way to go memories!
Hi, I'm Scott's (your nephew)wife, I remember a lot of these things, so you can't be too old. If that helps any. You gotta love the 80s.
Becky, I know being in your 30's isn't old but I am feeling the aches already... Glad you left a comment. And yes silly I know who you are!
WOw! I don't even know what to say! THe 80's were pretty awesome! It's always fun to have flashback parties! You guys look great! Miss ya!
Is it still cool if I went to The Palace in the 90's? Didn't live here until then.
I totally love your list I related to all of it. I put the black eye liner inside the eye too.Back in the day they did not have eye liner that was soft so I would have to heat it up with a lighter and then put it in the eye better hope it cooled enough.Oh and BTW your picture at the end kinda looked like twisted sister with those bright cheeks and blue eyes.!!!!80's are awesome!!!! Like for sure! gag me with a spoon totally.go- go girls!
I was born in 1980 and don't remember a lot of it, but it seemed to have lived on into the 90's becuase my hair was big as a teenager and I had a flourescent orange fanny pack with matching sun glasses. I wore 3 different color socks mismatched up my leg with my L.A. Gear high tops. I can go back in the day a little bit but not a lot about the 80's. I'm jealous, you had too much fun.
Ha I had La. gear shoes too!!!Sweet!!And Kangaroo's Does any one remember those?
Cecilia... The Palace was always the place to be!
Ella... yes indeed1 I remember warming up my eyeliner with the blow dryer... to funny!
