The right tune!!!

I love a good sweat, last year my friend took me on her "daily walk". She said it has a killer hill and is 5 miles long ... oh yea I'm all over that! She was right, the hill is a killer hill, just thinking about it makes me want to cry, huff and puff and keep telling myself .. "Just a little further... almost there, come Griffin!"

So when I'm Feeling a little sluggish and need an extra boost of "feel Goods"

I decide to take on the hill!

Of course, I only do it when I feel the time is right... I'm not perfect, maybe that's why I still have the "love" handles.... hhhmmm, mental note to self.... check!!

Anyway, the time felt right this morning and and I left with excitement to face the challenge! I had all my favorite songs on my ipod but there was one that absolutely helped me up the hill..... and I am indeed grateful for

Midnight showing of Indie!!

FIRST IN LINE.......

My Indie adventure begins Wednesday morning. Taylor reminds me of the importance of getting tickets to the midnight showing... I don't think he realizes the importance of this event in my life.... it was on my top priority list for the day.

This theater I went to is run by High School students, I have never seen a real adult there. Not thinking very clearly I was at the ticket booth by 12:00 in the afternoon... duh they are all in school still. But wait at last an adult inside the locked doors..."Hey..." knock, knock, knock...!

The only adult I have ever seen and he is the Janitor!

"Do you know if you are having a midnight showing of Indie?" I ask with eagerness.... I think he could see the excitement I had. I almost felt like one of the crazed Archuleta fans.

"I'm not sure, I think the manager is here let me go see..." he shuts the door and leaves me hanging, waiting, waiting, waiting........

Finally the door opens and the manger pokes his head out the door... He's not more then 19 years old... "I just got the reel, come back about 4:30 and we will let you know"

So after patiently waiting the day out Taylor and I went and bought our 9 needed tickets.

We were the first one's to line up at 11:00 pm, you see you need to go early to get a good seat. We waited that long hour.....

Nick, Taylor, Me, Catherine, Whitney, Austin, Brandon and Jake...

and on the other side of the camera... Mikey!

Remember we went early and were the first in line?

Here is the line at 11:59 pm.... a whole 30 people!

So the lesson learned... you are always guaranteed a seat for any movie at our PG, High School run, cheap ticket theater!

By the way, We loved the new Indiana Jones movie.... I'm going again!

I have been trying to go off this stuff forever, but when I went into the store today

I could not resist this tempting drink!

It might have been the worn and beaten leather jacket, the dusty worn hat, the strong rustic whip, the scruffy beard, the penetrating eyes....

A sweet cancellation.....
My plans of YW activities were cancelled last night so with out a second thought I knew exactly what I wanted to do!!

I called my chocolate lovin' friend, Diane from the good old Spanish Fork days,

for a time out! With just enough time to kill before the movie

We "HAD TO" visit our favorite Chocolate "bar"!

This is what Diane tempted me with....

and I ate it..... I ate it all!

By the end of the show I had chocolate and carmel all over the front of me and I couldn't believe I downed that whole thing by myself. (Diane had her own)

I told her she was the devil... and I had a light bulb moment.... didn't I hear one of boys just say that the other day? UUaaHaa! That's where they got it...

I have to say... I am a little envious of this tile job Mike is doing! Mike has been working on this house that is just up the road from where we live. So when he calls to come check it out, I'm there! I have never seen black polished rock in a tile job before. I am in love with it! I have been thinking about it all night, dreaming of where my house could use some spunk and these little black rocks!

But whenever I go into a house Mike is working on it has always been spectacular!
